Our History
The Global Kamboj Educational & Welfare Organisation was established by founding members recognising the need for a united, structured, and progressive platform for holistic development. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Punjab), GKEWO operates across North India including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttar Pradesh.
Guided by principles of inclusion, non-discrimination, and public benefit, the Organisation serves the common good of society at large — non-political, non-sectarian, secular, and committed to lawful, transparent, and democratic functioning.
Our Objectives
Establish and maintain scholarship funds for deserving students across school, undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional education.
Support construction, renovation, and equipment of educational institutions, libraries, and digital learning centres.
Provide free or subsidised coaching for competitive examinations including UPSC, SSC, State PCS, Banking, Medical, and Engineering.
Organise skill development and vocational training in tailoring, computer literacy, digital marketing, and allied trades.
Promote women's entrepreneurship through micro-finance linkages, self-help groups, and business mentorship.
Conduct free medical camps, health awareness drives, and health screening programs in rural areas.
Facilitate blood donation camps and awareness regarding organ donation and preventive healthcare.
Provide emergency financial assistance to families affected by accidents, illness, or natural calamities.
Document and preserve history, culture, heritage, achievements, and bio-diversity of the Kamboj community.
Foster inter-community dialogue, social harmony, and goodwill through cultural events and public programs.
